Free 4m suction hose with every Draper Surface Mounted Pump Surface mounted pumps will pump water at a far greater pressure than most submersible pumps which is useful if you want to have a high waterfall or a long stream. This type of pump sucks water out of the pond via a hose & then pumps it along another hose to wherever it's needed. As the pump doesn't go in the water it can be used for taking water from difficult to reach places. The water is under much higher pressure than with a 'normal' pond pump so it's great for a high waterfall or long hose (i.e. for a stream).
