The Hozelock Trinamic koi filter gives outstanding performance for excellent water clarity outstanding water purity for optimum fish health yet has been developed to be quick & easy to maintain. This makes the Trinamic one of the best koi filters on the market. Operation: As water enters the filter it passes through a set of Venturi which adds oxygen to the water. The water then enters the bio media module where the patented Kaldnes K3 media are spun around & knock into each other. This means only the strongest most efficient bacteria retain their grip on the media. A series of fine foams then remove any solid matter from the water before it returns back into your pond. Maintenance: Cleaning is via easy-to-use sludge drains & no-mess plungers for cleaning the foams. An indicator light lets you know when the foams need cleaning.
