Created from their own 6oz Sylkoil waxed cotton, the jacket gives a great water resistance on those wetter days. When the weather gets worse the Wax Hardwick offers a convenient, detachable hood which rolls up and stows away in the collar. The collar has been reworked to create a stand collar with a snap down throat tab, reflecting the brands history in motorcycling clothing But the collar remains true to the brands heritage by using the traditional corduroy lining, which also used on the inner of the cuffs and along the zip, giving a nice and soft feel to the jacket around its edges.
