There is plenty of space so just stuff it full of gear & youre good to go. The bag consists of one large main compartment with an internal mesh pocket. It has four compression straps to make your load smaller. There are handles either end making it easy to throw around & backpack straps for easy transport. The weight primarily is due to the PVC tarpaulin material that is very thick & water/wind/stain/everything you don’t want inside proof. The bottom of the bag has a tough cordura outer layer.
