It is well attached down the collar of the jacket using press studs or a zipper & forms a reliable weatherproof unit with the jacket itself. NANUK 150: Lightweight polyester fleece fabrics with a velour finish on both sides & outstanding warmth-to-weight performance. These fleeces are highly breathable, easy care & fast drying & are ideal a mid layer solution. Jack Wolfskin Meridian Men Jacket The new MERIDIAN MEN is one of the lightest 3-in-1 jackets in our range (just 1095 g in size L) & is a great option through winter & the transitional seasons. The fabrics & features are selected for performance & weight-optimization (e.g. water resistant zips). For the inner jacket, we have opted for 150 weight fleece, with a medium insulation rating suitable for the period from autumn through to spring. The shell jacket is waterproof & windproof & is reinforced with super-robust TEXAPORE 4x 4 OXFORD on the shoulders & sleeves. To accomodate an additional fleece layer for extremely cold conditions, the MERIDIAN is equipped with an asymmetric fron zip, which prevents the zip pullers on the component layers in the system bunching uncomfortably at the neck.
