A classic & iconic jacket in the Rab range for many years. The Double Pile is the heaviest & warmest fleece jacket that we make. The Double Pile (as the name suggests) uses a double layer of Berber Pile fabric in the back of the jacket to provide exceptional warmth. The front of the jacket & sleeves are lined with wind-resistant micro fibre that adds further to the warmth & comfort of the jacket. As well as providing wind resitance the micro fibre lining makes layering the jacket much more comfortable, especially if worn over a short sleeved top. 2 zipped handwarmer pockets & a zipped internal pocket provide space for essentials & the high, warm collar & hem drawcord trap in all that warm air. The Me Co 120 Long sleeve is a light weight, long sleeved base layer made from a blend of Merino wool & Polyester with Cocona Technology. The fabric that Rab use in the new Me Co range of baselayers is an intimate blend of ethically sourced Australian Merino wool (65%) & recycled polyester with Cocona technology. Cocona technology uses activated carbon gained derived from discarded coconut shells & other natural porous particles. Cocona technology is contained inside the recycled fibre & will  not wear out or wash off. In the 120 Long Sleeve we use a 120g/s/m Me Co fabric. The fabric is lightweight & makes the most of the comfortable & anti bacterial nature of Merino wool but is made faster drying due to the synthetic content of the fabric. The outer Pertex Endurance fabric is water resistant so ideal for use in snow and also very durable. The handwarmer pockets
and fleece lined neck baffles mean the Ascent jacket is equally at home on the winter walk to work as it is on the mountain or at the crag.
