The Summit has evolved into one of our most versatile & durable down jackets, ideal for cold weather mountaineering, hanging out at base camp in bad weather & for use throughout the year for cold days at the crag. The fully helmet compatible, down filled  hood with wired peak helps keep out the worst of the weather & ensures you stay warm. When not in use the hood can be rolled down & secured with press studs to create a protective, comfortable, down filled collar. The Summit has been a staple of the Rab range for many years & continues to be very popular. This latest incarnation uses high quality 650 fill power goose down in a stitch through constructionand a Pertex Endurance outer fabric. The arms & shoulders feature a higher denier  Pertex Endurance fabric and mean the   Summit jacket is not the lightest down jacket that we produce but it does mean it is incredibly durable.
