The 47-50 foot head is ideal for quick loading & easy D-loops whilst the Ridge Supple main belly & running line creates great line speed & tight loops for long casts. The main belly has a very neat welded loop & the tip section is also welded both ends forming a very neat & versatile loop-to-loop connection ridge supple running lines are famous for their ease of use & tangle free handling. A colour contrast (orange to ivory) between the running line & head helps to find the optimum loading point. The head also has a black mark indicator, which when in your hand offers an even greater indicator for optimum loading point. A further 3 tips are available in intermediate, sink rate 3 & sink rate 7, all coming with our neat welded loops both ends. The Airflo Ridge Clear range is just that, a range of clear fly lines with nothing added & nothing taken away. The pure nature of the coating & clear core optimises the clarity for ultimate stealth. Each fly line has a low optical density to enable it to disappear in water. Why the Airflo Ridge Clear Series? From experience with existing Floating ridge fly lines, Airflo just knew how much better the lines shot through the guides & wanted to offer the advantage in there new CLEAR line range. When the Ridges fill with water the clarity is incredible & this also helps effectively lubricate the fly line on each & every cast. Unlike some coating techniques, the ridges run along the lines full length & flow well through the rod guides with a minimum of noise, this indicates how little friction is being produced. The lines come in a Floating, Slow Inter with a sink rate of 0.5” & a Fast inter with a sink rate of 1.5”.
