When the rod is pointing upwards the stiffer side of the oval blank comes into play and gives more power for netting fish. Built using XT200 carbon and Biofibre, the Aerocast is fitted with top Fuji Alconite guides, a custom screw reel seat and a power cork handle. One look at the gloss black blank, as you take it from the Cordura transportation tube, indicates the very best quality, but it’s when you play a fish that the Aerocast really does stand head and shoulders above other rods.
