The Otamatone musical toy "sings" the notes of a tune, similar to that of a human voice. Cleverly shaped as a musical note, it consists of a touch sensitive stem that gives you the notes & vibrato function. To play, touch & slide your fingers up & down the stem & create the ultimate waaah waaah effect by squeezing the cheeks of the face at the base of the note. Designed as one of the musical instruments of the Japanese Maywa Denki Voice Project, the Otamatone was developed for a special exhibition to see whether machines sing like a human being. One could say
