This 8 Port HDMI Splitter & Transmitter allows up to 8 HDMI displays to be connected to single source via UTP CAT5e Solid Core. It uses our 20m, 35m & 50m Receiver units to make the long distance display connections. An additional RJ-45 cascade port allows a further 8 Port Splitter & Transmitter unit to be connected to add even more displays. This unique family of products represent the ideal solution for long distance, multiple display, HDMI installations such as those used in public signage, demonstration & presentation applications. For the highest resolutions, at distances of up to 50m, we recommend you use LINDY shielded CAT6 cables. The LINDY DVI CAT6 Extender allows high-resolution digital video to be sent between devices at distances of up to 30m using low cost CAT5e/6 network cable. For the highest resolutions we recommend you use LINDY Solid Core CAT5e Cables. The extender uses two modules
- one transmitter & one receiver. The transmitter connects directly to a DVI-D source. The receiver connects to a DVI-D display in the same way. Between the two modules, a low cost CAT5e/6 cable is used to transmit the video signals. The Extender supports resolutions up to 1680x 1050 or 1280x 1024 for distances up to 20m using high quality Cat.6 UTP or Pi MF (S/FTP) cable. Resolutions of 1920x 1200 or 1920x 1080, 1080p are supported up to 15m using LINDYSolid Core CAT5e Cables. Resolutions up to 1024x 768 are supported up to 30m using highest quality Cat.6a Pi MF (S/FTP) patch cables or special made solid core installation cable.
