The LINDY Fibre Optic DVI-D Extender is the most high performance solution on the market for sending DVI-D signals over incredible distances. Using a standard SC duplex single mode (9/125*Remote control requires ourInfrared Kit(sold separately)) fibre optic cable (not included) to make the long distance connection, the DVI-D Extender provides full support for computer DVI-D Single Link and HDTV DVI-D signals, RS-232 and IR remote control.
Unlike other manufacturer's solutions, the LINDY Fibre Optic DVI-D Extender uses just one duplex fibre cable - no additional cables are required for RS-232 or IR remote control.

The extender system comprises two modules, a
transmitter and a receiver, which are connected to both the DVI-D source and display using standard DVI-D cables of up to 5m.
