Alan Scott Greene is a Californian-based artist with a passion for race cars and bold primary colours. In 1970 there was an epic duel that any Porsche or Ferrari lover should know. Two 917's and a Ferrari 512S bang and bump their way around Circuit de la Sarthe as they fight for the win on the very last lap in the most closely contested race in the history of Le Mans. This stunning work depicts the fictitious outcome of the 1970 24 Heures du Mans. Seen here is a depiction of the last lap in the movie Le Mans. Michael Delany is driving flat out to catch Erich Stahler in his Ferrari 512S, as Larry Wilson hangs on to the lead. Who could forget this manic last lap?
