The cover photo shows the popular Swiss driver Gianclaudio Regazzoni flying to victory in the 1974 German Grand Prix at the classic 14.2-mile long ’ Ring. His racing career was cut short following an accident during the 1980 US Grand Prix “ West” at Long Beach. In December 2006, he lost his life in a road accident near Parma, Italy. Ciao Clay. German Touring Car (DTM) Signed Winners Champagne Bottles. This is an extremely unusual opportunity to acquire two empty champagne magnums signed by DTM/ITC drivers during the 1995 season. This was the season when there were several non-German rounds of the DTM competition. One of the bottles is signed by the winner of the Donington England round
- Bernd Scheider, & the other by Dario Franchitti from the race at Mugello Italy. These bottles are obviously used with slightly untidy labels, but a great collectors item.
