The DJI Goggles are comfortable goggles designed for seamless FPV flying with DJI products. They combine a pair of large ultra-high quality screens, long-range, low lag wireless connectivity, & direct control of photo & video capture. With Intelligent Flight Modes like Active Track, Tap Fly, Terrain Follow, Cinematic Mode & Tripod mode, a totally new flying dimension is created.
They deliver both 720p/60fps & close range 1080p/30fps viewing, with very low latency of just 110ms. Using DJI's Ocu Sync wireless transmission system you can connect up to 4 devices to the Mavic Pro at the same time. There are built-in antennas to provide 360-degrees coverage, so you can see everything.
The 2K screens inside the goggles are split into two 1280 x 1440 sections, one for each eye. When viewing a 16:9 image, some sections are cut off, leaving only a quarter of the available pixels. DJI goggles have two 1920 x 1080 screens providing more than double the amount of pixels of a typical 2K single screen.
Head movements control both aircraft yaw & camera tilt in Head Tracking Flight mode as with remote controller sticks. All you need to do is turn left or right to yaw left or right, & straighten your head to stop turning. In Head Tracking Gimbal mode only the gimbal will move without affecting yaw. The solid headband evenly spreads the weight of the goggles around the head to minimise pressure on your face. For spectacle wearers, you can keep them on when you have the goggles on & flip the screen part up to see what's happening in the real world.
You can either use the touchpad on the side of the goggles or 5D button on the Mavic Pro controller to navigate the internal menu system.
