The PowerTraveller Powerchimp4A takes approximately 8 hours to recharge 4 x AA batteries fully. When the batteries that require charging are in place, slide the unit shut. Then power the unit via USB (the powerchimp4A has a micro USB input socket and comes with a connection cable) from your computer or via a portable charger.

Initially all 4 of LEDs at the top of the unit will light up red. As the powerchimp4A works out which slots are in use, the lights will stay or go off accordingly. Once the battery inside is fully charged, the relevant LED with turn green.
