This series of Odos cycling maps are at a scale of 1:35, 000 & have prominently marked out cycling routes that are differentiated into different types of cycle situation & terrain. Ideal for planning suitable routes & knowing which routes to avoid whether you are on a mountain bike or road bike. These maps are also suitable for walking & horseback riding. Routes marked include: cycle path, cycle route with low motor traffic, cycle route with moderate motor traffic, cycle route on unpaved country road, motorway, district road, secondary paved road, unsurfaced road & footpath. Campsites & other useful details are also marked. With elevation markings, UTM coordinate references, longitude & latitude lines at 3’ intervals. Accompanied by a colour booklet with around 40 pages with places of interest & suggested routes with symbols to indicate difficulty, distances there & back. Topographic survey of France at 1:25, 000 in IGN`s excellent TOP25 / Série Bleue series. All the maps are GPS compatible, with a 1km UTM grid plus latitude & longitude lines at 5’ intervals. Contours are at 5m intervals except for mountainous areas where the maps have contours at 10m intervals, vividly enhanced by hill shading & graphics for rocky terrain. Colouring with graphics indicates different types of vegetation or land use (deciduous or coniferous forests, moors, orchards, vineyards, etc). PLEASE NOTE: coverage of France at this scale is currently being revised – the format & the presentation of each title are indicated by the letters at the end of its Sheet Reference number (e.g. 0416ET, 3531ETR, 1923SB, etc.)MAPS WITH FULL TOURIST OVERPRINT & AN ENGLISH MAP LEGEND: all TOP25 maps & the SB editions of Série Bleue have an overprint highlighting waymarked walking trails including long-distance GR routes &, where appropriate, ski routes. Ardennes Recreational Maps at a scale of 1:25, 000 enable you to discover the Ardennes from junction to junction, each associated with a locality, through a network of hiking, cycling or riding paths. The network of mini walks consists of suggested routes with kilometre distance marked showing field boundaries & urbanised built up areas. Contour markings are at five metre intervals.
