Global Surf Nation is not just another book about surfing. Surfing has changed in the last decade; it has evolved. The majority of people surfing & following the sport today are not in it for the money, & the adulation
- they are involved because they love the water, they love the waves & they love the feeling they get when they're out on a board. Global Surf Nation takes a trip around the world looking at the current state of surfing through the eyes of contemporary surf photographers. The content of the book is divided up by continent, & each section takes a look at the popular surf spots & a history of that region's surfing. Well-known surfers are interviewed & local boardmakers & brands are featured too.
