Clearspring Organic Brown Rice Miso is a rich tasting, fully-aged dark miso. As with any other miso, it can be used to make miso soup or can be added to soup dishes. It is also useful as a general-purpose seasoning in many dishes, particularly in Japanese cooking. Brown Rice Miso is known in Japan as genmai miso, & is aged in cedarwood kegs. Clearspring is made using traditional methods & made with organic ingredients. Brown Rice Miso is similar in taste to barley miso, but slightly sweeter.
