Emile Noel, Organic, Extra Virgin, Mild Olive Oil is made from the mechanical first pressing of a variety of olives picked at their full ripeness. The choice of olives & full maturity at time of picking ensure you have an oil with very little or no bitterness, making ait very subtle & adaptable for many uses across a broad range of recipes. This oil is great to make up dressing for Mediterranean dishes & is good on salads, pastas & with soft white cheeses. Naturally rich in Omega 9 (75%) unsaturated fatty acids & containing 27mg Vitamin E per 100g of oil, this oil is recommended as part of a diet to maintain cardio vascular health. The oil will form a gel in the bottle at low room temperatures that is easily reversed by gently warming it. This peculiarity of the oil is an indication of the unrefined quality of the mechanical pressing that retains the nature of the olive fruit. It is great sued raw, but can also be sued to cook & fry with due to the high linoleic acid content that gives it a smoking point of 210 deg. centigrade. This makes it a versatile & useful kitchen companion.
