However it complements Cedarwood Rosemary Geranium Lavender Ylang Ylang or the spice oils. For a refreshing cleansing aroma try 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Rosemary in a burner or diffuser. For a smoother more floral aroma try 2 drops of Geranium with 4 drops of Melissa Type or 3 drops of Lavender with 4 drops of Melissa Type. As its components are oils high in insect-repellent chemicals Melissa Type is also very good at keeping flying pests at bay. Myrtle has a gentle camphoraceous aroma which is also sweet & fresh. It blends well with Lavender Rosemary Clary Sage spice oils Bergamot & other citrus oils.
