To produce this unique RAW Cocoa Powder we use a method of cold pressing the fat from Cocoa bean. Superfruit's RAW Cocoa Powder is produced in a factory that monitors & controls the temperature, making sure it never exceeds 48°C. The process works like this: the cocoa beans are fermented & sun-dried, crushed into nibs & then ground in a stone mill into a paste. After that it is cold pressed to remove the cocoa butter & you are left with a nutritious Cocoa Powder that has wonderful flavor & aroma.
