Inspired military this type CWU-45 / P originally made from nylon was designed for pilots of the Navy in the United States. He will take over the MA-1 jacket that was manufactured in the 1950s. "CWU" was originally meant to indicate " Cold Weather Uniform". This is an absolutely iconic piece that we offer here in slightly nubuck calfskin for a very strong masculine look. This "plus" version corresponds to Chevignon's well-established design thanks to its embroidery & silkscreen designs found in our archives. We kept, like the initial version of the US Army, the leather patch on the chest on which was inscribed the name of the soldier & his company. Furthermore, its interior design is directly inspired by vintage Chevignon jackets with historical graphics & a typical interior pocket design of Chevignon pieces from the 80s.
