The Sharp End Jacket from Black Diamond uses a lightweight 40D face fabric, this is bonded to the super durable Gore-Tex Pro e PTFE membrane, then it is backed with a woven mini-ripstop  Nylon for added durability & moisture management. Designed to be lightweight & packable, yet withstand the rigours of harsh extended use in the mountains. Then being made from Gore-Tex & having fully taped seams it is 100% water proof & highly breathable. BD have used the new  Cohaesive cordlock technology for sleek, fully integrated, one handed operated cord management system. Designed to work when you need them & then to disappear when you dont. These are found in the usual places; in the hood, hem & collar. The Hood is adjustable & helmet compatible, the YKK  Aquaguard centre and chest pockets zips keep out the water. There is a brushed microsuede collar lining for next to skin comfort, & large pit zips for extra ventilation. The chest pockets stay out of the way of your harness & expand to give you extra storage space, there are two zip close hand warming pockets & an internal stretch media pocket with cord port. This jacket is great for anything, from alpine walking to expeditions to freeride skiing & pretty much anything in between.
