Featuring a supportive high leg & full soft calf leather lining this boot will perform well for general duties or serious tabbing. The full leather lining provides a smooth interior to reduce friction & enhances user comfort & allows your feet to breathe, unless of course you are up to your knees in a ditch! Whilst not 100% waterproof, these full leather boots will keep your feet extremely comfortable provided they are cared for correctly. The Hanwag Special Forces also feature their own air circulation system, called Air Pulse that actively pumps air around the boot as you walk to keep things fresh & to help with drying. The lacing system is brilliant on these boots, the forefoot lace furniture feature ball bearings so when you pull the laces the tension is kept even across the front of the foot. Higher up the leg Hanwag have used reliable & incredibly strong D-Rings to capture the laces. These D-Rings will not snag on clothing or rigging lines & are the strongest available. The high cuff is fully padded to provide comfortable support without causing pressure & there is a soft Achilles relief pad to protect that vulnerable area from stress & pressure. Support & comfort is supplied by a dense PU midsole that absorbs impact shock & vibration & a graduated flex nylon midsole board that allows a natural rolling action to reduce foot fatigue.
