Leki Micro Vario Carbon
The Micro Vario sums up its performance with its name, it has a micro weight, micro size and variable size adjustment. The long Aergon grip provides versatile hand positions and incorporates the Leki Speed Lock system to give you 20cm of adjustment so you get the pole length just right. The longer grip also reduces the need to adjust the length of the pole to suit ascents and contouring. All three sections of pole are linked by a PE coated Kevlar cord and they snap together just like a tent pole with each end protected by an aluminium titanium sleeve that guarantees a perfect connection. A spring in the lower section automatically adjusts the length of the cord keeping the pole in perfect tension. To assemble the pole simply hold it vertically and pull on the handle until all the
sections snap together and the locking pin is engaged. You can then fine tune the length by adjusting the Aergon grip. Folding is simple too, disengage the locking pin and slide the sections apart. The Micro Vario also benefits from the new Leki Lock Security Strap which has much easier adjustment, is more secure and much lighter than the original webbing straps.
