The Storm has recently been upgraded and now pumps out a massive 160 lumens of light and features the new Power Tap function. Power Tap allows you to adjust the brightness simply by tapping the touch sensitive housing with your bare finger. This superb torch runs off easily available 4 x AAA alkaline batteries and has a lock out mode to stop it accidentally turning on in your pack. The Storm headtorch has 3 main white lighting modes and a separate red LED mode. Distance mode is powered by one TriplePower LED pumping out 160 lumens and will illuminate up to 70m, toggle the power down to the SinglePower LED and you will save battery power and illuminate up to 3m. To preserve your night vision there is a separate Red LED mode that can be accessed without toggling through the White LED
