The Belay Master is ideally suited to groups & centres as it provides security & a visual check for leaders that the biner is being operated correctly.   The special clip can only be locked into place when the gate barrel has been tightened into the locked position. This acts as a double check that the biner is closed correctly & securely, & the plastic clip itself prevents the biner from being cross-loaded in action. A workhorse of a rigging carabiner & it has proved to be one of our most popular karabiners over the last few years. The Bug will happily handle ropes from 8.5 to 11mm. Medium to fat ropes will run through the Bug super smoothly, when chucking out for the leader or bringing up a second.
