The Atom LT Hoody is quite simply one of the best lightweight and versatile insulated jackets available; this year its been improved with a lighter, stretchy face fabric and re-designed hood. This fantastic jacket can replace several layers of bulky fleece with one super light and warm layer. Filled with a highly efficient synthetic Coreloft insulation it provides enough warmth for active cold weather pursuits or can be used all year round when the temperature drops. Just about everybody at Trekitt owns one of these, they are just so comfortable and practical. The new face fabric is called Tinthan and is a 100% nylon 46g/m² 20D mechanical stretch nylon rip stop with an air permeable polyurethane coating and a durable DWR (Durable Water Repellant) finish. So the upgraded Atom LT is
softer, more compressible, tough and just as practical...genius! The PU coating and DWR finish make this brilliant hooded jacket highly weather resistant, keeping out all but the worst wind and rain. Polartec Hardface Powerstretch side panels provide fantastic freedom of movement and give an anatomical efficient fit whilst enhancing breathability under the arms. The Atom LT now features a re-designed fully helmet compatible hood, that goes over just about any mountaineering helmet. This is a big improvement over the old under helmet design that could be a bit bulky and uncomfortable under your lid. The Atom LT is insulated with 60g/m² Coreloft on the body, sleeves and hood, an incredibly efficient synthetic insulation that performs even when wet and will dry out exceptionally
quickly. We have found through practical experience that this jacket is highly water resistant, negating the need for a shell until it really is pouring down. Featuring the usual Arcteryx gorgeousness and finishing touches including the jersey knit stretch cuffs which are just so comfortable and unobtrusive.
