The brilliant Microlight Jacket is packed with the latest Nikwax treated Hydrophobic down. This jacket such a great all round piece, minimal streamlined design, with enough warmth for most UK conditions, neat enough to wear under a shell & sharp enough to wear every day.  With minimal weight & capable of packing into its own chest pocket the Microlight Jacket can accompany you wherever you go. Filled with 120g of 750 fill power Hydrophobic European Goose Down in narrow stitch through baffles to minimise down migration & give it great looks. Pertex Microlight fabric provides a lightweight shell that is wind resistant, breathable & durable. A light DWR (durable water repellent) is added to the face fabric to repel moisture, & combined with Nikwax treated Hydrophobic down, provides reassuring performance in all but the worst conditions.  Rab is using Hydrophobic down in all their down jackets, basically each & every cluster of down is treated with Nikwax products to make them perform better in damp conditions.  Although Hydrophobic down is not waterproof it dries much faster, absorbs less water & retains loft far better than untreated down. With a clean uncluttered, minimalist design this jacket is the perfect winter mid layer for all mountain activities, but is equally good for every day duties when it gets a bit chilly.  This jacket is so adaptable it is suitable for all year round use, even for cooler summer evenings & chilly mornings.
