This 2 person shelter was designed first & foremost to provide a warm & dry environment for treating & protecting injured hill users & to provide emergency shelter. However it is equally useful as a warm & dry sanctuary for meal breaks, map reading & route planning in foul weather. The lightweight water & windproof fabric keeps out the elements & there is even a window & air vent. You can even use your trekking poles to brace the shelter using the roof recess. The Guide glove is a tough work horse designed for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors & needs a beast of a glove that won’t let them down. This super lightweight bag has been updated for 2014 with Hydrophobic down, this flurocarbon free treatment was developed in conjunction with Nikwax & although Hydrophobic Down is not waterproof it dries much faster, absorbs less water & retains loft far better than untreated down. Stuffed with high quality Hydrophobic European goose down & made from stupid light Pertex Quantum GL fabrics the Infinity is designed for those demanding the smallest packsize, minimal weight & top performance. Perfect for ultra lightweight backpacking & mountaineering, ultra marathons & adventure racing. Hand filled in Derbyshire with 300g of 850 fill power white goose down for maximum loft & insulation in a Tapered Mummy shape which is optimised for bags with fill weights between 100 & 600g. This bag has been designed purely for performance with a close fitting & tapered shape with little slack in the inner. The shape of the Trapezoidal internal baffle chamber delivers a very stable structure that results in a consistent distribution of down throughout the bag & the minimal differential cut combine to give a close technical fit. Differential cut is a technology developed by Rab to ensure that the space between the lining & the outer fabric is optimised for the specific filling & fill power. This maximises the potential of the down to loft naturally resulting in greater performance. This staff favourite has had a re-design for this season making them even better. They are waterproof, lightweight, have a neat slim fit & are made from highly breathable & waterproof e Vent fabric with reinforced Robic nylon fabric on the ankle for durability & strength. Rab have used their own Stretch Watergate fabric on the back of these gaiters, this fabric is waterproof & stretchy giving an enhanced fit around the leg reducing rubbing & bagginess. To help the gaiters remain in position Rab have added a flexible polymer strip at the rear, this in effect acts to keep them up even when they are loose at the top.
