For enhanced moisture management around the opening of the boot the area has been lined with  Dri-Lex.  Dri-lex is a combination on Hydrophobic (moisture hating) polyester & Hydrophilic (moisture loving) nylon. This is because Keen have developed this leather so it wont shrink, stretch or crack. To ensure all day comfort Keen have used a  Metatonomical EVA moulded footbed for great shock abortion & cushioning.  Metatonomical is a big fancy name that has been given to the internal support mechanism, it is anatomically engineered to provide excellent arch support that cradles the natural contours of the foot. The sole unit itself is quite stiff providing added stability & has been topped with a microfiber lining for further comfort.
