The Brimmed hat is, unsurprisingly, a hat with a wide brim. It is made from Lowe Alpines Desert Weave fabric which is a tough nylon that breathes well, dries quickly & can withstand regular abuse. Designed primarily for sunny conditions with a UPF 50+, this versatile hat will cope with all weathers thanks to its superb performance characteristics. A Dryflo base layer fabric internal headband improves comfort by wicking away moisture & providing a softer contact area. There is an adjustable & removable strap & the sides can be poppered up for that Crocodile Dundee look, but seriously, Ive found that by fixing up the sides the hat stays on better in windy conditions. When not required this lightweight hat can be rolled up small for easy storage. Dryflow fabric’s highly effective moisture management works when you are active & sweating to spread the moisture over the large surface area to evaporate rapidly, & then when you stop the fabric dries very quickly to ensure efficient temperature control, reducing the chilling effect.  Blended with the polyester is a as Cocona yarn made using natural technology & contains activated carbon from discarded coconut shells.  Cocona will not wear off or wash out as it is contained inside the fibres.  It is extremely breathable & accelerates evaporation by increasing the surface area by 800%.  The activated carbon element absorbs odour molecules which are then released & the carbon refreshed by the warmth from washing & drying.  As well as all that it provides a natural UVA & UVB barrier & shields the skin from harmful UV radiation.
