It’s a 100% organic cotton long sleeve t-shirt that has the M.E. logo across the chest. You wear it when you’re off to the pub. We advise you to align the main head port by sliding your arms into the left & right limb slots. Once your hands reach the end of the limb slots & your head is through the main head port; adjust so the crew neck sits straight & that the labels are positioned at the rear of the head port, making sure that the logo is facing forwards. The face fabric is made up of twisted  Nylon yarns maintaining its tough, durable properties but allows the fabric to be more supple & not so stiff. The guys at M.E. have used all of their Storm Construction techniques during the design & build of the jacket. Everything form seam construction, placements & taping; which face fabrics to use, bar tack reinforcement & storm guarded YKK Aquaguard zips. Fort Knox Federal Gold Reserve has nothing on this jacket when it comes to keeping things out. It is built around Mountain Equipment’s “ Mountain Fit” block so it has that little bit of extra room to allow for other layers. The sleeves are pre-shaped & articulated to allow for more natural unrestricted movement. The Mountain HC Hood works with for short periods & great without a helmet so it’s a win win. If you need a snow skirt the awesome it has one of those too, but if you don’t need one the cool thing is you can just unzip it & take it out. The Dual Tether Hem Drawcord allows for greater fit customisation whilst also eliminating the risk of snagging things like ice axes & crampons.
