This really is a lovely boot, it is lightweight (around 660g) & beautifully made, as you would expect from Meindl.   The leather uppers are so soft yet supportive which means the Toronto can be worn straight from the box.   The thing you instantly notice when you put them on is how much your heel & ankle are gripped & controlled without feeling constrained or rigid in any way.  A roomy forefoot allows for a natural & relaxed foot position & will suit wider feet.  A deep lugged Vibram sole is hefty enough for normal hill use without being too heavy or inflexible & features a PU heel insert for cushioning & comfort. ...
