The Sawtooth is the latest model to use this versatile softshell fabric & the tough nylon Matrix DWS (Double Weave Stretch) fabric offers superb breathable,  durability and weather protection for all mountain activities. Double weave fabric features larger fibres on the inside & finer fibres on the outside that create capillary action to draw moisture away from your body & the dense weave repels all but the worst weather. The Sawtooth Hoodie can be worn as a lightweight outer over a good base layer for more active winter pursuits or just as a lightweight everyday jacket. Thanks to its great breathability it performs equally well as a light mid layer under a shell when the weather turns really nasty. The built in stretch makes it very comfortable to wear & offers completely unrestricted movement for activities such as climbing, mountaineering, trekking or Nordic walking. The thing that you really notice when you put on the Sawtooth Hoodie is just how comfortable it is, this is down to the stretchy fabric that moves with you & allows completely unrestricted movement. The regular cut allows for layering underneath without being too baggy; you could even use the Sawtooth Hoodie in winter over a lightweight down such as the Rab Microlight jacket.
