The Speedcross has firmly established itself as the definitive trail running shoe; providing outstanding grip, control & comfort. The uppers are made from a lightweight synthetic material that has minimal water uptake keeping the shoe light & quick drying even when it’s horrendous underfoot. Breathability is enhanced with a mesh construction over the foot that allows air flow & water to drain away quickly, be under no illusion that these shoes are in any way waterproof. To ensure your foot is held securely in the shoe especially when traversing slippery slopes, Salomon have  the external Sensifit & Quicklace systems. These two systems work in tandem to clamp your foot in place without uncomfortable lace pressure. Excess lace tucks neatly away into the tongue pocket so they won’t snag & come loose. The X Over is built on the same tried & tested 3D Advanced chassis that is found in Salomons original trail running shoes. The XT Hornet GTX is built around a lightweight Agile Chassis System to provide stability through the heel & mid foot whilst leaving the forefoot more flexible for walking.  Lined with a Gore-Tex membrane to keep out the wet the Hornet is designed as an all year round performer.
