Teva have used Spider Original Rubber for the outsole, which allows for infallible grip in wet environments. Sandwiched between the layers of the midsole  Teva have placed a moulded nylon stability shank for rigidity. The foot contact surface has water-channeling lug patterns to aid drainage helping to keep you secure & comfortable. Lightweight yet secure straps are backed with a Neoprene foam & stretch mesh lining for quick drying. As an added bonus they have thrown in a  Shoc  Pad in the heel for added shock absorption & even though a ladies feet smell like roses, they have bolted on the  Microban  Zinc based anti-microbial protection to protect against bad smells. What more could you want. Just so we are all on the same page, its Teva  (teh-vah, not tee-vah), imagine a cockney trying to say tether & you are basically there.
