Our Colonial Steamer cushions are made using the finest 180 gram Polyester. The fabric is harder wearing than cotton & is therefore ideal for garden furniture cushions. This cushion is boxed with a double piped edge to give it a luxurious & classic look; we have used shoelace ties so you can make sure the cushion attaches correctly & securely to the chair. The Colonial cushion shown above is zipped so you can remove the fillings & machine wash the case at 40˚C. Polyester fabric has better fade resistance than cotton & is rot, shrink, crumple & stain resistant. The Colonial Collection is filled using reflex fibre which will make the cushion recover after use & will help to stop the cushion becoming flat with use. The fibre used also allows water to pass through the filling unlike foam which retains water. By allowing water to pass through the fillings your cushion is less likely to rot. All cushions in the Colonial Collection are packed into zipped storage bags to help extend the life of your cushion whilst it is stored away during the winter months. Please note: Whilst all the cushions in the Colonial Collection are fade resistant we do not recommend they are left outside at all times. All cushions should be stored in a dry & clean environment when not in use. This cushion will fade over time if left in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
