(See below for more information) More Information Unlike DVI & VGA connectors which feature thumbscrews for attaching cables, standard HDMI cables lack any means of creating a secure connection to a display, projector, wall plate etc. The LINDY HDMI Connector Lock is an innovative solution specially developed to overcome this limitation. Designed to be used in conjunction with our Premium Gold HDMI cables*, the Connector Lock is manufactured from a high quality thermoplastic polymer which, when warm, easily slips over the HDMI connector & forms a tight fit as it cools down. A built-in thumbscrew then allows the cable to be secured to one of our HDMI face plates or a suitably equipped HDMI device. This gives you a extra secure connection to ensure the cable connection does not become loose. Fitting the Connector Lock to a Premium Gold HDMI Cable is simply a matter of warming it up for a few seconds just long enough to allow it slip over the hood. To do this you can use a hair dryer, room heater or simply by rubbing it between your hands. When used with our HDMI wall plates, the lock thumbscrew simply screws into the hex nut.
