* Please Note: This connector lock is designed only for use with LINDY Premium Gold High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet. (Part No's 37419 to 37427). The Premium Gold HDMI Connector Lock is a unique, flexible plastic hood which fits over the connectors on our Premium Gold HDMI cables. It ensures a unique connection to LINDY HDMI face plates or suitably equipped HDMI devices, preventing accidental removal or disconnection. (See below for more information) More Information Unlike DVI & VGA connectors which feature thumbscrews for attaching cables, standard HDMI cables lack any means of creating a secure connection to a display, projector, wall plate etc. The LINDY HDMI Connector Lock is an innovative solution specially developed to overcome this limitation. Designed to be used in conjunction with our Premium Gold HDMI cables*, the Connector Lock is manufactured from a high quality thermoplastic polymer which, when warm, easily slips over the HDMI connector & forms a tight fit as it cools down. A built-in thumbscrew then allows the cable to be secured to one of our HDMI face plates or a suitably equipped HDMI device. This gives you a extra secure connection to ensure the cable connection does not become loose. Fitting the Connector Lock to a Premium Gold HDMI Cable is simply a matter of warming it up for a few seconds just long enough to allow it slip over the hood. To do this you can use a hair dryer, room heater or simply by rubbing it between your hands. When used with our HDMI wall plates, the lock thumbscrew simply screws into the hex nut. You can also use the Connector Lock with HDMI devices which have a suitably positioned fixing screw. In this instance, simply replace the devices fixing screw with the supplied hex nut & attach the Connector Lock to it. ...
