Infrared Over CAT5 Extender Kit
This simple to use plug and play extender allows you to control up to 4 AV source devices* via IR remote control over distances of up to 450m, without direct line of sight. Perfect for use with concealed AV installations and in combination with CAT5/Fibre AV extenders which do not offer IR extension.
Using low cost CAT5/6/7 cabling the IR over CAT5 Extender Kit delivers full control of your AV equipment, overcoming CEC limitations or incompatibilities. It is perfect for use with non-CEC equipped HDMI AV products.
The IR Receiver is small enough to be discreetly attached to a TV via its adhesive base, whilst the IR Emitter features an adhesive front, allowing it to be positioned directly over an IR port. The IR Receiver and Emitter can easily be extended using standard 3.5mm audio
