Melissa is one of the most adulterated & copied essential oils & genuine Melissa oil makes up only a small fraction of the amount that is sold commercially. Absolute Aromas also stocks a True Melissa but as the cost is so prohibitive we produce this blend of essential oils to resemble the aroma. The blend

Includes:: Lemon Lemongrass & Citronella among others. As this oil is already a blend it makes an ideal diffusing oil in its own right. However it complements Cedarwood Rosemary Geranium Lavender Ylang Ylang or the spice oils. For a refreshing cleansing aroma try 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Rosemary in a burner or diffuser. For a smoother more floral aroma try 2 drops of Geranium with 4 drops of Melissa Type or 3 drops of Lavender with 4 drops of Melissa Type. As its components are oils high in insect-repellent chemicals Melissa Type is also very good at keeping flying pests at bay. For this try blending 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Cedarwood in a burner or diffuser.
