- Add one heaped teaspoon of Psyllium powder (5g) to half a small glass (100ml) of luke warm water stir vigorously until mixed & drink immediately. Repeat two or three times per day or as directed by a practitioner. Psyllium husks come from the outside coat of the seeds of the plant Plantago Ovato. The husk provides a good source of fibre & is good used as part of a cleanse programme. The powder needs to be mixed with water & stirred please ensure that you take it quickly with sufficient water as it thickens rapidly & turns into a gel.
