The Fjallraven Keb
trouser uses a mix of two
very different fabrics to
provide an extremely
comfortable and very hard
wearing general trekking
and mountain trouser. The
Keb is primarily made up
of a lightweight 4 way
stretch nylon softshell
fabric that is
comfortable, quick
drying and breathable.
This is then reinforced
with Fjallravens
incredibly durable G1000
Eco fabric on the main
wear areas of thighs,
knees, ankles and seat.
G1000 Eco is a blend of
65% organic cotton and
35% recycled polyester.
The combination of these
two technical fabrics
give you a very hard
wearing and easy to move
in pair of trousers.
Unlike some of
Fjallravens trousers they
are not absolutely
festooned with pockets,
but you get enough
storage for the
essentials. There are two
hand warmer pockets and
two thigh pockets, the
left one has zipped entry
and the right one has an
internal knife/phone
pocket. There are also
two zipped vents on each
leg, one at the thigh
and one at the ankle,
which give the Keb true
year-round versatility.
The cut and shape of
these trousers is superb
and combined with the
stretch fabric they feel
fantastic on and allow a
full range of movement.
The knees are fully
articulated and you can
insert knee pads if you
are using the Kebs for
work. Further reinforcing
heavy duty fabric is used
around the fully
adjustable cuff and there
is even a lace hook to
stop the cuff riding up.
As with all Fjallraven
equipment a lot of
careful thought has gone
into detail and making
sure they perform well
and last a long time,
the instep seam, for
instance, has been moved
to reduce wear and
reinforced with a second
layer of fabric. To
increase the versatility
of these brilliant

The Greenland Pro Pants
are made from Fjallravens
superb original G1000
fabric, a tough and
weather resistant blend
of polyester and cotton.
This versatile fabric can
be waxed with Greenland
Wax to make it more
waterproof, or un-waxed
for increased
breathability. You could
even wax the lower legs
only to create a gaiter,
or just the upper thighs
to protect from jacket
run off, or just the
bum; you get the idea.
These pants are perfectly
suited to, and designed
specifically for,
trekking and general
outdoor life, they now
feature a new technical
cut with a higher waist
in the back, lower front
and pre-shaped knees.
They will withstand years
of harsh use and have
double fabric
reinforcements over the
knees and seat, the
knees also have pad
sleeves for extra
protection when required.
They are festooned with
pockets with handwarmer,

The Mission Pant is a
perfect example of a
hybrid construction,
making use of M.E.’s
proprietary Exolite Soft
Shell fabric for the main
body of the pant for its
stretchy and durable
double weave make up.
Then the use of the PTFE
membraned Windstopper
Soft Shell fabric in the
knees and seat provide
not only 100%
windproof-ness in these
areas, but because they
have a PTFE they are
basically
“waterproof”. I
can’t say that they are
waterproof because the
seams haven’t been
taped, and it
Windstopper is designed
to be windproof not
waterproof; however if
wind can’t get through
you’d be hard pushed to
force water through.
These beastly mountain
pants are stretchy enough
for those big moves and
waterproof panels in the
seat and knees for when
you need to sit or use
your knees. Great for
winter mountaineering,
ice climbing, or a damp
day on the hills. Nice
and close fitting to
reduce bulk thanks to
M.E.’s Alpine fit but
roomy enough with a
regular fit ankle to

The Ascender pant is a
burly mountaineering soft
shell pant that can shrug
off the worst of the
weather and has
functional design
elements to ensure
comfort and reliability
when you are out in all
weathers. They are made
with a mix of heavy
weight and mid weight DWS
(Double Weave Stretch)
softshell fabric which
uses tightly woven Nylon
and Polyester fibres to
repel wind and rain
whilst maintaining superb
breathability. Larger
fibres on the inside of
the pants actively wick
moisture away from your
skin to the smaller,
tightly woven fibres on
the outside where it
evaporates. These
external densely woven

The Keb is primarily
made up of a lightweight
4 way stretch
nylon softshell fabric

breathable. This is then
reinforced
with Fjallravens incredibly
durable G1000 Eco
fabric on the main wear
areas of thighs, knees,

seat. G1000 Eco is a
blend of 65% organic
cotton and 35% recycled
polyester. The
combination of these two
technical fabrics give
you a very hard wearing
and easy to move in pair

they are not absolutely

The Vector takes

and mountain walking
pant. They are made with
the superb DWS (Double
Weave Stretch) softshell
fabric which uses tightly
woven Nylon and Polyester
fibres to repel wind and
rain whilst maintaining

Larger fibres on the
inside of the pants
actively wick moisture
away from your skin to

outside where it
