This lightweight bivi shelter is completely waterproof & highly breathable thanks to the e VENT Exchange Lite fabric, so you can now have a fully protected yet very light bivi shelter.  The internal mesh panel on the door helps to keep the midges & flies out & can be removed if you are absolutely fanatical about weight.  The Ascent is nice & roomy allowing for taller users up to about 6’2” & a small pack inside.  The box wall sides do increase the sense of space & allow your sleeping bag to loft naturally maximising its warmth. The new Endurance Down Mitt is basically a lightweight Expedition Mitt for when you dont really need full on furnace warmth, but just want to make sure your hands stay warm & protected in freezing conditions. They are good for light work in the polar regions & at altitude but excel in UK & Alpine winter mountaineering situations. The hood & foot area is lined with Pertex Endurance to minimise damage from wear & also reduce water take up from wet boots & clothing. Insulation is provided by 1000g of 850 fill power superior quality Hydrophobic European Grey Goose Down, yes you read correctly, 1000g of mega down!
