Lowes ingenious headlocker system makes attaching & removing ice axes quick & easy & their load locker buckles and  Web Catcher system for attaching skis are easy to use with bulky gloves yet incredibly secure. Comfort has not been compromised & the adaptive fit hip belt & shoulder harness provide a comfortable carry whatever your size & shape. You can even strip down the hip belt to a minimal webbing belt & remove the padding altogether for use when wearing a harness or if you dont want a waist belt at all. The shoulder straps have extra padding on the main load bearing points & less where it s not required. A well padded back panel is designed to enhance comfort when carrying heavier loads & features a ventilation channel & internal wire frame to save weight & provide essential support & load distribution. There is even a removable foam sheet that can be used a bivvy mat or sit mat. For versatile loading options the top lid can be extended & has a webbing strap to accommodate ropes, crampons or just some extra kit. One of the best features of the Mountain Attack, one not often found on this kind of pack, is the large side zip which allows direct access to the main compartment without going through the top lid; this is especially useful if youve packed your rope/crampons under the lid. The main compartment can also be split in two via a zipped divider to separate wet/dirty kit & this base compartment can be accessed separately by an external side zip.
