The Tribute 2 GTX builds on its predecessors success with a new injection moulded PU midsole & Exoskeleton. This clever construction technique provides cushioning & support & extends up & around the heel to provide additional support & pronation control. The Tribute 2 GTX has genuine straight out of the box comfort & wearability. They are so light & easy to wear you just want to stick them on & go for a walk.   AKU are about the only manufacturer to keep the last (the solid form that dictates the boots shape) inside the boot throughout the whole production process. By doing this the Tribute memorizes its shape through the most critical stages of production. Whilst this may be a more costly operation it ensures the integrity of shape & ultimately your comfort. This process also a more accurate sizing as the boots don’t shrink when they cool off after the moulding process. A TPU lasting board provides structural support & a natural rolling walking action. Grip & support are provided by a deeply lugged Vibram sole unit with a positive heel brake to provide additional security when descending.
