Rab have been using their lightweight Matrix DWS fabric to great effect in many products for many years. The Sawtooth Pants have had a design update for this season but still use the versatile & tough nylon Matrix DWS (Double Weave Stretch) fabric which offers superb breathability,  durability and weather protection for all mountain activities. Double weave fabric features larger fibres on the inside & finer fibres on the outside that create capillary action to draw moisture away from your body & the dense weave repels all but the worst weather. The Sawtooth Pants are incredibly comfortable to wear thanks to the articulated cut, stretch fabric & soft lined waistband making them perfect for mountain activities such as climbing, mountaineering, trekking or Nordic walking. The Sawtooth pants perform well all year round; layer them up with some good base layer leggings & you have got a competent pair of winter mountaineering pants with reinforced kick patches to protect from crampon damage.  Featuring plenty of zipped pockets the Sawtooth will cope with travel & trekking duties & with a UPF 30+ you can even use them during warmer weather thanks to their excellent breathability. these have to be a tremendously versatile pair of mountain sports trousers that you will just want to wear for everything.
