All aspects of the carrying system have been engineered for maximum comfort & fit.  This new Elbrus pack will provide stable & comfortable load carrying for extended treks & travel & is built to withstand the kind of abuse & hardship those adventures can inflict on your gear. The key element of this pack is the new & exclusive Axiom back system. Lowe Alpine have designed the system to be easily adjusted, even when wearing the pack, extremely comfortable, supportive, breathable & with a low profile. Adjusting the back length to achieve a custom fit couldnt be simpler; with the pack on pull the black cord to unlock the system, then pull the grey cord to adjust the shoulder straps, release the black cord then release the grey cord. Being able to so easily adjust the pack means that you can vary the load between shoulders & hips depending on the terrain. The moulded back panel features air channels to help with ventilation & a sprung steel frame stabilises the load & distributes the weight evenly. Access to the main compartment is via the top lid which features an internal security pocket, but you can also get to your kit through the base compartment. The base compartment has a divider that can be removed to create a larger internal space. You wont be short of places to stash your gear as the Elbrus has plenty of pockets, large bellows side pockets, two hip belt pockets, mesh water bottle pockets & a zipped external pocket. Trekking poles are secured using the versatile tip gripper & pole loops & ice axes can be attached using the stowable loops. Designed primarily for sunny conditions with a UPF 50+, this versatile hat will cope with all weathers thanks to its superb performance characteristics. A Dryflo base layer fabric internal headband improves comfort by wicking away moisture & providing a softer contact area.
